#LOGIC PRO CANT FIND SOFTUBE PLUGIN LICENSE#
Seems silly that I have to download from 2 different sites to get my license to work but, whatever. I thought once I downloaded from iLok I was finished with it.
#LOGIC PRO CANT FIND SOFTUBE PLUGIN DRIVER#
I didn't realize I had to download the PACE driver for MAC. Worth a shot - hope it worksYeah, that actually happened to me the first time but I figured it out Did you click the bottom button to confirm? I've installed, authorized ilok, done the control panel but didn't click OK (or whatever the button says - not in front of my computer right now) and had the same issue To the OP - dumb thought, when you went to the Softube control panel where you move the license from the left to right. Ever notice how Avid NEVER demos the software on a PC? Hmmm. I didn't do anything to the iLok before or after the re-installs and the XLN plug licenses still register so WTF? I purchased the software and iLok 2 through Sweetwater too, for what it's worth.Ĭontrary what Avid (and people here try to say) pro tools isn't really Windows friendly. After going through Softube's plug-in app and enabling all the ones i purchased I can still initiate an instance of a plug-in in a logic channel strip so I know the software is there, but it comes up with another 'No License Detected' message and i can't use them. When i initiated Logic, it registered the AU plugs and XLN plug-ins I have but every Softube plug-in causes the "No License Detected" window to pop up. I downloaded my licenses from Softube's site after logging in and installed them after updating OSX and Logic 8 to the most current updates (exactly as before). Installed all the license on a brand new iLok 2 and everything worked flawlessly (on Logic 8 and Snow Leopard) until last week when i wiped my system drive for a fresh OSX install. Got almost everything softube has out last fall when they dropped the prices on their bundles. I'm having the same very frustrating problem.
